Junior Camp Schedule (ages 7 to 10)
9:00 – 9:30 – Drop off
9:30 – 11:45 – First activity (w/ 15 minute snack break)
11:45 – 1:00 – Break for lunch and camp games
1:00 – 2:30 – Second activity
2:30 – 3:00 – Break and snack

Session 1 (July 29th – Aug 2nd)
The Power of Flight (Junior)
This Junior camp is aimed to get kids excited about flight through a variety of fun group activities and experiments. Campers will make their own kites, learn about space travel, and launch water rockets in the park!
Session 2 (Aug 12th – 16th)
Paper Extravaganza (Junior):
The rich history of paper is a great way to explore science, technology, and the arts. From learning about basic circuitry by making paper lanterns, to expressing your creative side through paper marbling, to making paper itself, this camp session will allow campers to discover the potential of paper in all its forms.
Session 3 (Aug 19th – 23rd)
Colour and Light (Junior):
In this session of camp, kids will explore the science of colour and light. By experimenting with LED lights, learning about how colour relates to food and our appetites, making a camera obscura, and building a zoetrope, campers will be introduced to concepts like the physics of light, the chemistry of colours, and the persistence of vision, all while having fun and learning new skills.
